Installing even the simplest of lighting schemes to a garden can extend your enjoyment of the garden into the hours of darkness. During the day all your surroundings are visible but at night you can choose what is seen, by lighting only the areas you want to draw attention to. If lit properly a garden can take on a whole new feeling at night. Uplighting a stone wall, for example, can highlight the texture of the stone that would not be noticed by day.

An irrigation system can be completely automated so once set you can forget about it for the entire year. It will mean that your plants and lawn receive the correct amount of water all the time enabling them to grow much healthier.
